But what exactly does ISO certification entail, why is it important and what does it mean for you? Why ISO 9001:2015 is important for quality

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard that helps companies optimize their quality management systems. Our quality management system (KMS) brings structure to our processes and acts as a guide for continuous improvement within the organization. We have proudly carried ISO 9001 certification since 2000, and we remain committed to maintaining and further refining our quality.

The audit: an in-depth process audit

The certification audit, which has been conducted for several years by Bureau Veritas, went smoothly and thoroughly. During this audit, there was an in-depth look at departments such as:

  • Sales and order processing – How efficient and customer-oriented are our processes?
  • R&D and production – How do we ensure innovation and quality?
  • ICT and measurement tools – How do we ensure accurate and reliable means, and is our data adequately protected?
  • Management – Is the annual management review properly conducted and have quality objectives been met and redefined?

The result? A successful succession audit, demonstrating that our products, services and operations are consistently of quality. We see this as a great confirmation of our continued focus on quality and improvement.

What improvements have been made to meet the requirements?

We continue to invest in quality improvement. Recently, our multidisciplinary QA team (quality assurance team), quality meeting and employees have been actively working to further optimize our processes. Where necessary, corrective actions have been taken, and we continue to demonstrably work on continuous improvement. An important step in this was the further development of our KMS SharePoint module and the automation of ISO actions, a progress that was recognized by the auditor as a very positive development. Thanks to these initiatives, we keep our quality standards high and continue to improve our services.

Achieving ISO 9001:2015 is not an end goal, but a continuous process of improvement and development. We continue to focus on optimizing our quality management system, not only maintaining existing processes, but also developing them further.
