Application example: terrain gradient measurment

In Vicenza, the AGCO production site hosts the manufacturing facility for all Harvesting Machines belonging to the Group, including Fendt, Massey Ferguson, and Valtra. One of the key components utilized in the threshing machines is the Dynamic Inclinometer with J1939 interface. This sensor is employed to measure the gradient of the terrain on which the machines operate. Consequently, it enables the activation of specific functions that adapt according to the slope, as well as facilitating control over the machine's levelling system on machines designed for levelling purposes. 

In order to simplify the installation process of the sensor, a specialized version was chosen to be mounted in an inverted position.
